TELMICO Suspends Deposit Charges for Residential CustomersFebruary 1, 2022
Some customers have received SMS notifications from TELMICO regarding the accrual of a deposit on their subscriber accounts.
These deposits were charged in accordance with retail market rules and only for those customers who systematically violate electricity payment deadlines. However, considering the current social situation and the appeals made by customers to GNERC, TELMICO is canceling the deposit charges for all residential customers.
We would like to note that TELMICO has not implemented, and is not currently implementing, these deposit charges for socially vulnerable or large families who have provided the company with documentation verifying their status.
We always approach our customers' requests with understanding. To avoid similar situations in the future, we kindly request that customers adhere to the electricity payment deadlines.
