The Personal Data Protection Officer ensures:
a) informing the person responsible for processing of information, the person authorized to process and their employees on issues related to data protection, including the adoption or amendment of regulatory legal provisions, providing them with advisory and methodological assistance;
b) participation in development of a document related to data processing and assessment of impact on data protection, as well as monitoring the implementation of the legislation of Georgia and internal organizational documents by the person responsible for the processing or the person authorized to process;
c) analysis of received applications and complaints regarding data processing and issuing appropriate recommendations;
d) obtaining consultations from the Personal Data Protection Service, representing the person responsible for processing and the person authorized for processing in relations with the Personal Data Protection Service, providing information and documents upon his request, as well as coordinating and monitoring the implementation of his assignments and recommendations;
e) in the event of a request from a data subject, provide him with information about the data processing processes and his rights;
f) perform other functions by the person responsible for processing or a person authorized to process in order to improve the standards of data processing.
