GNERC Member Giorgi Pangani Visited TELMICO'S New Service Center in Avlabari
Giorgi Pangani, a member of the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC), visited the new customer service center of the Tbilisi electricity supplier company, TELMICO, in Avlabari to observe the operational process. An official opening ceremony of the service center was held as part of the GNERC member's visit.
Accompanied by the company's management, Giorgi Pangani met with TELMICO employees and received information regarding customer inquiries. He emphasized that it is vital for GNERC that customers receive timely and high-quality service.
"TELMICO provides electricity supply to the population of Tbilisi; therefore, it is important for the company to have service centers in every district where customers can easily receive the necessary services or consultations. Within the framework of the energy market reform, the role of the consumer has significantly increased. Consequently, it is essential for utility companies to gradually improve their service quality, which is subject to continuous monitoring by the Regulatory Commission," stated Giorgi Pangani.
The new TELMICO customer service center is located at a major transport hub near the Avlabari metro station, making it accessible to residents of other districts, which facilitates a steady flow of customers. Subscribers visiting the center can receive high-quality service and consultation on any issue related to electricity supply.
"Today, the sixth TELMICO service center opened in Avlabari. Here, as in any of our other centers, customers can receive complete and high-quality services regarding electricity supply. We pay great attention to the quality of customer service and, at the same time, continue to introduce new products and services," said Tea Nozadze, Head of the Electricity Sales Department.
